Beautiful, quiet place near the sea and close to the airport. Rooms are very quaint and oldie worldie, loved it. Dinner was lovely by an open fireplace, food good. Nice outlook, comfortable, would stay again

Nelson is a lovely town, with beautiful hanging baskets and old, unique architecture, close to Tahunanui beach, which is lovely. The Saturday market is great and wandering around Nelson town is fun, there are some good small specialty shops. I enjoyed the museum and the Suter Art Gallery and Queens Gardens. Takaka is a must for those who love alternative shops and lovely radiant people. Lake Arnaud is worth a visit. A wine lovers dream area. Harvest resturant was the highlight of the trip. Stunning location service and food.

The Art and Crafts I saw were excellent.
The Art and Crafts I saw were excellent. The Suter Gallery was a highlight, and I enjoyed the Cathedral. I really enjoyed the walk up to "the centre of N.Z" and the views from there. I had some very good food and liked looking at the architecture - e.g the villas and transitional villas in The Brook. Founders Park and Miyazu Japanese Garden were great. Also, having a craft beer at "The Free House", a church that has been converted into a drinking place( and painted with fun colours) was wonderful.

Friendliness and facilities were so nice.We had a lovely balcony with table and chairs.Near the beach.The lady I Ispoke to on the phone requesting a bath also came to greet us and she remembered me from our phone call and said enjoy your bath you deserve it. She must have remembered when I spoke to her previously we were going to be tired as we had come from a month of entertaining friends and family. This got us off to a great start.Then we were so happy to see how lovely our unit was.A Wonderful stayJulzNew Zealand

The location was in a very beautiful part of the town and very easy walk to the centre of Nelson and it's conveniences. The host Carolyn was so friendly and attentive without being intrusive and was happy to provide information on the surrounds for activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay at Peppertree again.

The owner is very nice and friendly, the whole house just feels like home and the garden is wonderful. It takes approximately 15 min to Nelson centre and a hike to the monument of New Zealand starts behind the garden.
